Hazrat Adam (AS) - The First Man and Prophet
According to Islamic tradition, Allah (SWT) created Adam (AS) from clay and breathed life into him. Allah (SWT) said:
"I will create a vicegerent on earth." (Quran 2:30)
Adam (AS) was appointed as the first prophet and was tasked with guiding humanity. He received revelations from Allah (SWT) and was instructed to worship and obey Him.
The Story of Hawwa (Eve)
Adam (AS) was created alone, and Allah (SWT) created Hawwa (Eve) from one of Adam's ribs while he was in a state of sleep.
The Forbidden Tree
Adam (AS) and Hawwa (Eve) were forbidden to approach the Tree of Eternity, but Shaitan (Satan) tempted them, leading to their expulsion from Jannah (Paradise).
Lessons from Adam's Story
1. Humanity's purpose: worship and obedience to Allah (SWT).
2. Free will and accountability.
3. Importance of repentance and seeking forgiveness.
